Our program room is finished at last and children’s programs can resume. Parent-Child workshop is set to begin again on Feb. 1, at 10:15 and will continue each Monday and Wednesday throughout February and March except on Feb. 20th when the library will be closed for President’s day. Parent Child Workshop is for children from 6 months to four years old and their caregivers. The program consists of free play with the Library’s toys and climbing structures followed by songs and a story at circle time.
This January in our Wednesday story hour at 1:30, we’ll be reading about penguins, , stars and New Years celebrations. As always we’ll be making crafts to complement those stories. The story hour is designed for 3 to 5 year olds.
In the craft hour each Tuesday at 4 p.m., we’ll be creating fortune tellers, paper lanterns and dragons for Chinese New years and glitter fireworks. In February, we’ll be making puppets, mardi gras beads and valentines.
