Parent-Child Workshop which resumed in February has been well attended. Karin Pollock the “music lady” has been bringing her violin on Wednesdays and entertaining the children with songs and movement. The Workshop is for children from 6 months to four years old and their caregivers. The program consists of free play with the Library’s toys and climbing structures followed by songs and a story at circle time. The workshop is held every Monday and Wednesday from 10:15 to 11:45 in the newly refurbished program room.
This March in our Wednesday story hour at 1:30, we’ll be reading about bears, kites, leprechauns and spring flowers. As always we’ll be making crafts to complement those stories. The story hour is designed for 3 to 5 year old children.
In the craft hour each Tuesday at 4 p.m., we’ll be creating bear puzzles, kites, St Patrick’s day cards and paper flowers. This program is for school age children and includes a nutritious snack.
